Hadith 7:12

Abdullah ibn al-Harith—from the people of Makkah, a Makhzumi—narrated to me: Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Insan narrated to me—and he praised him well—from his father, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from al-Zubayr, who said: We arrived with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from Liyyah, until when we were at the Sidrah (lote tree), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stopped at the edge of the black horn (qarn) adjacent to it. He directed his gaze toward Nakhab—meaning a valley—and stood until all the people had gathered. Then he said: "Indeed, the game of Wajj and its thorny trees are a sacred sanctuary for Allah." And that was before his descent upon al-Ta'if and his siege of Thaqif.
