Musnad Ahmad 5:174

Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-A’la al-Tha’labi, from Abu Jamilah al-Tahawi, from ‘Ali, that a servant of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, committed an act [requiring punishment], so the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered me to carry out the prescribed punishment upon her. I went to her and found that she had not yet dried from her blood. I came to him and informed him, and he said: "When she has dried from her blood, then carry out the prescribed punishment upon her. Carry out the prescribed punishments upon those whom your right hands possess."
