Musnad Ahmad 5:18

Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from his father, from Mughirah, from Umm Musa, from Ali, who said: "I have not suffered from ophthalmia (sore eyes) since the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, spat into my eye."
