Musnad Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA)
مسند علي بن أبي طالب (1) رضي الله عنه
Hadith 5:22
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, from al-Nazzal ibn Sabrah, who said: A pitcher of water was brought to ‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, while he was in the courtyard (al-Rahbah). He took a handful of water and rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, and wiped his face, his forearms, and his head. Then he drank while he was standing, and then said: "This is the ablution of one who has not broken his state of purity; this is how I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, do."
حدثنا محمد بن فضيل، عن الأعمش، عن عبد الملك بن ميسرة، عن النزال بن سبرة، قال: أتي علي رضي الله عنه، بكوز من ماء وهو في الرحبة " فأخذ كفا من ماء فمضمض، واستنشق، ومسح وجهه، وذراعيه، ورأسه، ثم شرب وهو قائم، ثم قال: هذا وضوء من لم يحدث، هكذا رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فعل "
