Hadith 5:252

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, 'Ali bin Zaid informed us, from 'Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Nawfal, that 'Uthman bin 'Affan stopped at Qudaid. He was brought partridges in large bowls, with their legs raised. He sent for 'Ali, who was grooming a camel of his. He came, and the leaves (that he was feeding the camel) were falling from his hands. 'Ali refrained (from eating), and the people refrained. 'Ali said: "Is there anyone here from the tribe of Ashja'? Do you know that a Bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with ostrich eggs and game meat, and he said: 'Feed them to your family, for we are in a state of Ihram'?" They said: "Yes." 'Uthman then shifted from his couch and descended, and said: "You have made it unpleasant for us."
