Musnad Ahmad 5:276

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from al-Sha‘bi: "Ali flogged Shurahah on Thursday, and he stoned her on Friday. He said: 'I flogged her according to the Book of Allah, and I stoned her according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'"
