Musnad Ahmad 5:347

Abdullah narrated to us, Ishaq bin Isma'il narrated to us, Mushir bin 'Abd al-Malik bin Sil' narrated to us, my father 'Abd al-Malik bin Sil' narrated to us, from 'Abd Khayr, from Ali: "He washed his palms three times, rinsed his mouth, and inhaled water into his nose three times, and washed his face three times. And he said: 'This is the ablution of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'"
