Musnad Ahmad 5:362

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Harith, from 'Ali, who said: Three men came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. One of them said: "I had one hundred uqiyahs, and I spent ten uqiyahs from them." The other said: "I had one hundred dinars, and I gave ten dinars from them in charity." The other said: "I had ten dinars, and I gave one dinar from them in charity." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "You are equal in reward; each one of you has given in charity a tenth of his wealth."
