Musnad Ahmad 5:390

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, I heard al-Qasim ibn Abi Bazzah narrating from Abu al-Tufayl, who said: Ali was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, single you out with anything?" He said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not single us out with anything that he did not make general for all the people, except for what is in the scabbard of this sword of mine." He said: Then he brought out a scroll in which was written: "Allah has cursed the one who sacrifices to other than Allah, and Allah has cursed the one who steals the landmarks of the land, and Allah has cursed the one who curses his father, and Allah has cursed the one who shelters an innovator."
