Hadith 5:406
Ibn al-Ashja‘i narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Suddi, from ‘Abd Khayr, from ‘Ali, that he called for a pitcher of water, then said: "Where are those who claim that they dislike drinking while standing?" He said: So he took it and drank while he was standing. Then he performed a light ablution and wiped over his sandals, then said: "This is the ablution of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for the one who is pure as long as he does not break his ablution."
