Musnad Ahmad 5:447

Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from ‘Abdullah ibn Salamah, from ‘Ali, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would relieve himself, then eat meat with us, and recite the Qur’an. Nothing would prevent him, or hold him back, except for Janabah (major ritual impurity)."
