Musnad Ahmad 5:480

Abdullah narrated to us, my father and Abu Khaythama narrated to me, they said: Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibrahim ibn Fulan ibn Hunayn, from his grandfather Hunayn, he said: Ali said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade me from wearing saffron-dyed garments, and from [wearing] Qassi (silk-blend) garments, and from [wearing] a gold ring, and from reciting [the Quran] while bowing." Ayyub said: Or he said: "That I should recite while I am bowing." Abu Khaythama said in his narration: It was narrated that Isma'il retracted "from his grandfather Hunayn."
