Musnad Ahmad 5:527

Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Harith, from Ali, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, decreed that the debt is to be paid before the bequest, and you recite: '...after any bequest he [may have] made or debt' [An-Nisa: 12]. And the full brothers (children of the same father and mother) inherit from one another to the exclusion of the half-brothers (children of the same father but different mothers)."
