Waki' narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Mas'ud ibn al-Hakam, from Ali, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood for the funeral, so we stood. Then he sat, so we sat."
