Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Uthman al-Thaqafi, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja’d, from Ali, who said: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade us from mounting a donkey upon a mare."
