Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah, from Abu Hassan al-A'raj, from 'Ubaydah, from 'Ali, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day of the Confederates (al-Ahzab): "They distracted us from the middle prayer until the sun set. May Allah fill their graves with fire and their houses—or their bellies." Shu'bah was in doubt regarding "houses" or "bellies."
