Musnad Ahmad 5:588

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubayrah, from Ali: That a silk garment was gifted to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he clothed me with it. Ali said: So I went out in it. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "I am not pleased for you with what I dislike for myself." He said: So he commanded me, and I tore it up among my women as head coverings, between Fatimah and his aunt.
