Hadith 5:696
Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Fitr narrated to us, from Kathir ibn Nafi' al-Nawa, who said: I heard Abdullah ibn Mulayl say: I heard Ali say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There was no prophet before me except that he was given seven noble companions and ministers, and I have been given fourteen: Hamza, Ja'far, Ali, Hasan, Husayn, Abu Bakr, Umar, al-Miqdad, Hudhayfah, Salman, Ammar, and Bilal."
حدثنا أبو نعيم، حدثنا فطر، عن كثير بن نافع النواء، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن مليل، قال: سمعت عليا، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إنه لم يكن قبلي نبي إلا قد أعطي سبعة رفقاء نجباء، وزراء، وإني أعطيت أربعة عشر: حمزة، وجعفر، وعلي، وحسن، وحسين، وأبو بكر، وعمر، والمقداد ، وحذيفة، وسلمان، وعمار، وبلال "
