Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar, from ‘Ali, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: That he was on the day of the Confederates (al-Ahzab) at one of the gaps of the Trench, and he said: "They distracted us from the Middle Prayer until the sun set. May Allah fill their graves and their houses—or their bellies and their houses—with fire."
