Musnad Ahmad 5:761

Abdullah narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Umar al-Qawariri narrated to me, Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from al-Nu’man ibn Sa’d, from Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, who attributed it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): That he forbade the recitation of the Quran while bowing (ruku’), and he said: "When you bow, then glorify Allah, and when you prostrate, then supplicate, for it is worthy that it be answered for you." 1331 - Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Ma’mar narrated to me, Ali ibn Mushir and Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to me, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from al-Nu’man ibn Sa’d, from Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah, bless my nation in its early morning."
