Musnad Ahmad 5:83

Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Nu'aym ibn Hakim al-Mada'ini narrated to us, from Abu Maryam, from Ali, who said: I set out with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, until we came to the Kaaba. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to me: "Sit," and he climbed onto my shoulders. When I went to rise with him, he saw weakness in me, so he descended. The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sat for me and said: "Climb onto my shoulders." He said: So I climbed onto his shoulders. He said: Then he rose with me. He said: It seemed to me that if I had wished, I could have reached the horizon of the sky. Until I climbed onto the House, and upon it was a statue of brass or copper. I began to wrestle with it from its right and its left, and from in front of it and from behind it, until I had secured it. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to me: "Throw it." So I threw it, and it shattered just as glass vessels shatter. Then I descended, and I and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, set out, racing until we hid ourselves among the houses, for fear that any of the people might encounter us.
