### Musnad of Alqamah ibn Ramthah al-Balawi Alqamah ibn Ramthah al-Balawi narrated: I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was at al-Juhfah, or at Qudaid. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a tribe that has embraced Islam, and I have invited them to Islam, and they have responded. So, appoint me over them." He said: "So he appointed me over them." He said: "When I turned to leave, he called me back. I returned and said: 'Here I am, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Take care of the one who is with you from your tribe, and do not let them be divided, for the wolf eats the stray sheep.'"
