'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn 'Amr ibn Hazm narrated to me, from 'Amr ibn Hazm, who said: I presented—or he said: It was presented—the incantation (ruqyah) for the sting of a snake to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he authorized it.
