Musnad Ahmad 32:1004

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Ishaq, from Anas, who said: "We arrived from Khaybar, I and Abu Talha, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), with Safiyyah riding behind him. He said: The she-camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stumbled, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell, and Safiyyah fell. He said: Abu Talha rushed forward and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may Allah make me your ransom'—he said: I am in doubt whether he said that or not—'are you hurt?' He said: 'No, attend to the woman.' He said: So Abu Talha threw his garment over his face, went to her, and stretched his garment over her. Then he set her saddle right for her, and we mounted. Then we surrounded him, one of us on his right and the other on his left. When we overlooked Medina, or were at the back of the Harrah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Returning, repenting, worshipping, to our Lord praising.' He did not cease saying them until we entered Medina."
