Hadith 32:1017
Muhammad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Humayd narrated to us, from Anas, who said: A man came walking quickly, and he reached the people while he was out of breath. When he stood in the prayer, he said: "All praise is due to Allah, a praise that is abundant, good, and blessed therein." When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, finished the prayer, he said: "Who is the speaker, or who is the one who said it?" The people remained silent. He said: "Who is the speaker, or who is the one who said it? For he did not say anything bad, or he said something good." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I reached the row while I was out of breath, or my breathing was labored." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "I saw twelve angels rushing to it, [competing as to] which of them would raise it [to the heavens]." Then he said: "When one of you comes to the prayer, let him walk with his composure. Let him pray what he catches, and complete what he missed."
