Musnad Ahmad 32:1040

Bahz narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Abu Imran al-Jawni and Humayd informed us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and saw a palace of gold. I said: 'Whose is this?' They said: 'For a young man from Quraysh.' I thought it was for me, but behold, it was for Umar." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Abu Hafs, nothing prevented me from entering it except what I know of your protective jealousy (ghayrah)." He said: He replied: "O Messenger of Allah, would I have protective jealousy against you? I would not have protective jealousy against you."
