Musnad Ahmad 32:1179

Mu'adh narrated to us, Humayd al-Tawil narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Emigrants (Muhajirun) said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have not seen the likes of a people we have come to who are better in giving when they have much, nor better in consolation when they have little. They have spared us the burden, and they have made us partners in the pleasant things. We fear that they will take all the reward." He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "No, not as long as you praise them for it and pray to Allah for them."
