Musnad Ahmad 32:1205

Rawh narrated to us, Sa’id narrated to us, from Qatadah, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, that Ukaydir of Dumah gifted the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, a jubbah (outer garment) of silk brocade or thick silk—Sa’id was uncertain about it—before silk was forbidden. He wore it, and the people were amazed by it. He said: "By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the handkerchiefs of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh in Paradise are better than it."
