Hadith 32:1217
Rawh and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, that a youth from the Ansar said: "O Messenger of Allah, I desire to perform Jihad, but I have no wealth with which to equip myself." He said: "Go to such-and-such Ansari man, for he had equipped himself but became ill. Say to him: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sends you greetings of peace and says to you: Give to him what you have equipped yourself with.'" So he said that to him. He (the Ansari man) said: "O such-and-such woman, give him what you equipped me with, and do not withhold anything from him. For by Allah, if you withhold anything from him, it will not be blessed for you." ‘Affan said: "It was a youth from Aslam."
