Musnad Ahmad 32:122

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Sa‘id, and Ibn Ja‘far said: Sa‘id informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas, that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The phlegm in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is burying it."
