Hadith 32:1261
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from Anas, who said: "The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not come out to us for three [days], and the prayer was called. Abu Bakr went to step forward, but the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, signaled toward the curtain and raised it. When the face of the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, became clear to us, we had never looked at a sight more pleasing to us than the face of the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when it became clear to us. He signaled with his hand, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to Abu Bakr to step forward, and the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, let the curtain down. He was not able to [come out] again until he died."
