Musnad Ahmad 32:1299

Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Anas ibn Malik: "When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, shaved [his head], he began with the right side of his head and shaved it, then he gave it to Abu Talhah." He said: "Then he shaved the left side of his head, and he distributed it among the people."
