Musnad Ahmad 32:1325

Abu Sa’id narrated to us, Shaddad Abu Talha narrated to us, ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Ansar came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in a group and said: "How long shall we continue to draw water from these wells? If only we went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he prayed to Allah for us, so that He might cause springs to gush forth for us from these mountains." So they came in their group to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. When he saw them, he said: "Welcome and greetings; a need has brought you to us." They said: "Yes, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "You will not ask me for anything today except that you will be granted it, and I will not ask Allah for anything except that He will grant it to me." They turned to one another and said: "Are you seeking the worldly life? Seek the Hereafter." So they said in their group: "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah for us that He may forgive us." He said: "O Allah, forgive the Ansar, and the children of the Ansar, and the children of the children of the Ansar." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and our children who are not from us?" He said: "And the children of the Ansar." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and our freed slaves?" He said: "And the freed slaves of the Ansar." He said: And my mother narrated to me, from Umm al-Hakam bint al-Nu’man ibn Sahban, that she heard Anas saying, regarding the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the like of this, except that he added in it: "And the daughters-in-law of the Ansar."
