Musnad Ahmad 32:1348

'Arim and 'Affan narrated to us, they said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, he said: I heard my father saying: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, from the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: That a man had assigned for him—'Affan said: [it was] assigned for him—from his wealth some date palms, or as Allah willed, until Qurayzah and al-Nadir were conquered for him. He said: So he began to return [them] after that. My family ordered me to go to the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and ask him for what his family had given him, or some of it. The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had already given them to Umm Ayman, or as Allah willed. He said: So I asked the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he gave them to me. Then Umm Ayman came and placed her garment around my neck and began saying: "No, by Allah, besides Whom there is no god, he shall not give them to you, for he has already given them to me," or as she said. The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You shall have such and such," but she said: "No, by Allah." He said: And he would say: "You shall have such and such." He said: Until he gave her [enough], and I reckon he said: ten times as much, or he said: close to ten times as much, or as he said.
