Hadith 32:1373

Hashim narrated to us, Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Thabit narrated to us, Anas said: "I have never smelled ambergris, nor musk, nor anything at all, more pleasant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. And I have never touched anything at all, neither brocade nor silk, softer in touch than the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." Thabit said: So I said, "O Abu Hamza, is it not as if you are looking at the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and as if you are hearing his voice?" He said: "Yes, by Allah, I hope to meet him on the Day of Resurrection, and I will say: 'O Messenger of Allah, your little servant.'" He said: "I served him for ten years in Medina, and I was a boy. Not all of my affairs were as my companion desired them to be, yet he never said to me, 'Uff,' and he never said to me, 'Why did you do this?' or 'Why did you not do this?'"
