Musnad Ahmad 32:1381

Hashim narrated to us, Sulayman narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Abu Talha had a son who had a small bird (nughayr) that he used to play with. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Abu Umayr, what did the little bird do?"
