Musnad Ahmad 32:140

Sufyan narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to me, he heard Anas narrating from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Three things follow the deceased: his family, his wealth, and his deeds. Two of them return, and one remains. His family and his wealth return, and his deeds remain."
