Musnad Ahmad 32:1415

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Sulayman narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: "A man invited the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, so he went, and I went with him. He said: So broth containing pumpkin was brought. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, began to eat that pumpkin, and he liked it. When I saw that, I began to pick it out and place it before him, and I did not eat any of it." Anas said: "So I have not ceased to love it." Sulayman said: I narrated this hadith to Sulayman al-Taymi, and he said: "We never visited Anas ibn Malik during the season of pumpkin except that we found it in his food."
