Musnad Ahmad 32:1427

Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?" He said: "And what have you prepared for the Hour?" He said: "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: "Then you are with whom you love." Anas said: We did not rejoice over anything after Islam as we rejoiced at the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "You are with whom you love." He said: So I love the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and Abu Bakr, and Umar, and I hope to be with them due to my love for them, even if I do not perform the deeds that they performed.
