Musnad Ahmad 32:1486

'Ali narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, he said: I heard Anas ibn Malik saying: "A hare was startled, so the people chased it. I was among the first to reach it, so I caught it. I brought it to Abu Talhah. He said: He ordered that it be slaughtered, then it was roasted. He said: Then he took its haunch and said: 'Take this to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.' He said: So I brought it to him. He said: I said: 'Abu Talhah has sent this haunch of a hare to you.' He said: 'So he accepted it from me.'"
