Hadith 32:1538
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: 'Asim ibn 'Umar ibn Qatadah al-Ansari, then al-Zafari, narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari, who said: I heard him saying: "There was no one more prompt for the 'Asr prayer than the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The two men of the Ansar whose houses were furthest from the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were Abu Lubabah ibn 'Abd al-Mundhir, brother of Banu 'Amr ibn 'Awf, and Abu 'Abs ibn Jabr, brother of Banu Harithah. The house of Abu Lubabah was in Quba, and the house of Abu 'Abs ibn Jabr was in Banu Harithah. Then, they would pray the 'Asr with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and then they would come to their people, and they [the people] had not yet prayed it, due to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, hastening it."
