Musnad Ahmad 32:1598

Mu'ammal narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Budayl ibn Maysarah al-'Uqayli narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from Anas ibn Malik, he said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, Allah has kin among the people." It was said: "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The people of the Qur'an are the kin of Allah and His elect."
