Hadith 32:1629
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas: That a man used to write for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. When he would dictate to him "Sami'an" (All-Hearing), he would say: "I wrote Sami'an Basiran (All-Hearing, All-Seeing)." He would say: "Leave it." And when he would dictate to him "Aliman Hakiman" (All-Knowing, All-Wise), he would write: "Aliman Haliman" (All-Knowing, All-Forbearing) — Hammad said something similar to that. He said: And he had read Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran, and whoever read them had read much of the Quran. Then he went and became a Christian. He said: "I used to write for Muhammad whatever I wished, and he would say: 'Leave it.'" Then he died and was buried, but the earth cast him out two or three times. Abu Talha said: "And I saw him cast out upon the surface of the earth."
