Musnad Ahmad 32:1740

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Mansur, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja’d, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came walking until he reached the mosque, or near it. An old man, or a man, came to him and said: "When is the Hour, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "And what have you prepared for it?" The man said: "By the One who sent you with the truth, I have not prepared much work for it, neither prayer nor fasting, but I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: "You are with whom you love."
