Musnad Ahmad 32:1744

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talha informed us, from Anas, that Abu Talha came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was on the pulpit. He said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "What do you see regarding this verse that has been revealed?" He said: "Indeed, Allah has said: {You will not attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love} [Al 'Imran: 92]. And there is no wealth of mine that I love more than my land, Bayruha. I seek nearness to Allah through it." He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Bakh, bakh! Bayruha is a profitable gain." So he divided it among them as gardens.
