Musnad Ahmad 32:1754

'Affan narrated to us, Sulayman narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to be pleased by a good dream, and he would sometimes say: "Has anyone among you seen a dream?" If a man whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not know saw a dream, he would ask about him. If there was no harm in him, his dream would be more pleasing to him. A woman came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I saw as if I had entered Paradise, and I heard a commotion that caused Paradise to shake. [I saw] so-and-so, son of so-and-so, and so-and-so, son of so-and-so," until she counted twelve men. "They were brought, wearing dusty garments, with their jugular veins dripping blood. It was said: 'Take them to the river of al-Baydakh (or al-Baydah),' and they were dipped into it. They emerged from it with their faces like the moon on the night of the full moon. Then they were brought chairs of gold and sat upon them. A platter was brought, and they ate from it; they would not turn it to any side but that they ate whatever fruit they desired." The bearer of glad tidings came from that military expedition and said: "Our affair was such and such, and so-and-so and so-and-so were struck down," until he counted the twelve men whom the woman had counted. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bring the woman to me." She came, and he said: "Relate your dream to this man." She related it, and he said: "It is as she said."
