Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, Umarah ibn Zadhan narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: A beggar came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he ordered a date for him, and he threw it to him. Then another beggar came, and he ordered a date for him. He (the beggar) said: "Subhan Allah, a date from the Messenger of Allah?" He said: So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to the slave girl: "Go to Umm Salamah and give him the forty dirhams that are with her."
