Musnad Ahmad 32:1788

Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Layth, from Yahya ibn 'Abbad, from Anas, who said: There were orphans under the guardianship of Abu Talha, and he bought wine for them. When wine was prohibited, he came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "Shall I turn it into vinegar?" He said: "No." He said: "So he poured it out."
