Musnad Ahmad 32:1797

Husayn narrated to us, in the interpretation of Shayban, from Qatadah, that Anas ibn Malik said: Umm al-Rubayyi‘ came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and she was the mother of Harithah ibn Suraqah—and she said: "O Prophet of Allah, will you not tell me about Harithah?"—and he had been killed on the day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow—"For if he is in Paradise, I will be patient, and if it is otherwise, I will exert myself in weeping for him." He said: "O mother of Harithah, they are gardens in Paradise, and your son has attained the highest Firdaws." Qatadah said: And Firdaws is the elevated part of Paradise, its center, and its best.
