Hadith 32:180
Isma'il narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Muhammad, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the Day of Sacrifice: "Whoever slaughtered before the prayer, let him repeat it." A man stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is a day in which meat is desired," and he mentioned something about his neighbors. It was as if the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) believed him. He said: "And I have a young goat (jadha'ah) that is dearer to me than two meat-sheep." He said: So he granted him a concession. I do not know if his concession reached anyone else or not. He said: Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned toward two rams and slaughtered them, and the people went toward the spoils (of the sacrifice) and distributed them—or he said: divided them—that is how Ayyub said it.
